CECIL BLAINE, the Eldest Sons-in-law

        Cecil was born January 8, 1915, at Conesville, Iowa. When he was four weeks old they returned to their home in Fredonia. He grew to adulthood in Fredonia, and received his education in the local schools, going on to college at Fairfield, Iowa.

        He spent one summer with relatives at Crestone, Colorado, where an uncle was manager of a gold mine. On November 8, 1936, he was united in marriage to Erma Ester Landrum, near New London, Iowa, daughter of Noah and Dorothy Landrum, For several years he was manager of a Goodyear Tire store in Parsons, Kansas and Fayetteville, Arkansas. In August, 1947 they moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where he has been associated with Cook Paint Company. He is now auditor in charge of the accounting department at K. M. B. C. television station, owned by the Cook Paint Company, and have a lovely home in Kansas City, Missouri.

        Both Mr. and Mrs. Bliven are active in church and social work. Cecil is superintendent of the Presbyterian Sunday school, and deacon of the church. Mrs. Bliven teaches a “teenage”class of girls, is active in the church club, and chairman of the entertainment committee. She has been a member of the Gray Ladies for some time, and served as room mother in the school, also as Den Mother for the Cub Scouts. They are the parents of two children, pretty little Judy Lynn, born August 7, 1941, and Jack David, born August 12, 1946, a fine young man and all boy. Both children are active in club and school work, and regular attendants at church. - Transcriber's note: Typed as written. Believe his full name was Cecil Blaine Bliven.
