        At an early date a United Presbyterian church was organized and built. The building stood just a block south of the Grandview Community Bible Church on the corner of Madison and Vernon Streets. For the last ten or fifteen years of its history the Presbyterians had used the building. Around 1900 it was disbanded and the building used to make two dwellings.
