by Deb Bowen and confirmed by
her uncle as his father.
Ben
later moved to Burlington, Iowa, where he married
Margaret Fairbanks and fathered 7 children.
He died in an accident
when working as an electrician at the Iowa Ordnance Plant
in
Middletown, Iowa, in October 1941, when he was 43 years old.
