Church Dedication.--The new Free Will Baptist church, located one mile East of Coalport, on the line of the B. & M. R. R., will be dedicated on Sunday, March 5th, at 11 o'clock A.M., 1871. Elder O. E. BAKER, Superintendent of the Wilton Seminary, will conduct the exercises. The public are invited to be present.
MARRIAGES.
JORDAN-BROWN.--Feb. 21, 1871, at the residence of Henry BROWN, Esq., in Fairfield, Iowa, by Rev. Carson REED, Mr. Harry JORDAN and Miss Maggie E. BROWN. All of this city. No cards.
There! another matter settled, and the Major and Maggie, two of the best young people of our city, have been joyously started on their matrimonial voyage. Our rosiest wishes are heartily tendered
that the journey may be pleasant and prosperous, and that their brightest hopes of future happiness may be fully realized.
Be happy they! The happiest of their kind! Whom gentler stars unite, and in one fate Their hearts, their fortunes and their beings blend!

SHEETS.--On Wednesday, Feb. 15, 1871, in Des Moines township, Jefferson county, Iowa, at his residence, of consumption, Mr. Thomas S. SHEETS, in the 84th year of his age.
