  In compliance with section No. 446.2 of the Code of Iowa, notice is hereby given that on Monday, December 4th, 1972 at the treasurer's office in the Jefferson County Court house there will be offered for sale all lands and town lots on which the taxes have been levied for the year 1971 and prior years and which at the time of sale remain unpaid. The sale to be adjourned from time to time as necessary, not to exceed sixty days at any adjournment, until all lands and town lots are sold, of which the list below is a correct listing to the best of my knowledge and belief.
  A cross (x) designates that the property has been advertised two years or more in consecutive order.

NOTICE OF TAXES DUE
On Delinquent Personal Taxes

Treasurer's Office, Jefferson County
Fairfield, Iowa November 24, 1972


  In compliance with Section 445.8 of the Code of Iowa, notice is hereby given to the owners of personal property on which taxes are unpaid and delinquent.
  Publication of delinquent personal property taxes has been ordered in a newspaper of general circulation for November 24th and December 1st as provided by statute.
 Within 10 days following final publication, as provided by law, the County Treasurer will issue Distress Warrants for collection of such delinquent taxes. Such warrants shall be served by the Sheriff of Jefferson County, as prescribed by law.
  Any taxpayer affected may at any time pay to the Treasurer the amount of delinquent taxes and penalty, plus the costs of publication, prior to the issuance of the Distress Warrant.
