The following children were listed in the Federal Census of 1900. Geneva MASON, b. Dec 1886 in Iowa and John MASON, b. Oct 1891 in Iowa. That is the sum of what I know. Thank you again for your help. BELL, DIMMIT posted by Craig Nelson on Tuesday, February 4, 2003
Searching for information on Samuel BELL believed to be in Jasper County and Poweshiek County, Iowa ca 1914 - 1918. Samuel was probably born ca 1890 - 1895. Do not know his place of birth nor his parents or any siblings. He was thought to have brown eyes. Samuel worked as a farm hand on the Vestle DIMMIT farm ca 1914 - 1918. He told the Dimmit's that he had "come up from Missouri to work". I don't know if that means he was born and raised in Missouri or that he had simply worked a while in Missouri before coming to Iowa to work. Any assist appreciated. Best Regards, Craig Nelson cengold@aol.com
