Any information about August WAGNER (Wagoner)? He may have come from Prussia shortly before the Civil War. At age 24 he enlisted in 14th Iowa Inf., Co. E. His eldest son was William Anthony (1870) whose eldest son was Julius Raymond, all born in (Vandalia?) Jasper Co. Both August and William were twice married with large families. We have lost track of almost all of them and have no information other than names. Thank you for your help.
