REED -- In Sherman Tp., June 26, 1878, of consumption, Horace M. Reed, aged about 21 years.
Mr. Reed was a highly respected young man, honest and industrious, and his loss is seriously felt by his widowed mother and relatives. His funeral was attended on the 28th ult., Rev. E. L. Williams conducting the services. ~ Journal, Newton, Iowa, July 11, 1878.
