Sandra Briggs, 67, passed away Friday, August 3, 2012, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. A private family burial will take place at Sugar Grove Cemetery in Metz, Iowa.
Sandra was born January 6, 1945, in Newton, Iowa, to Thaddeus and Lola Orman. She lived in the Des Moines area most of her life.
Sandra is survived by her sons, Ricky (Sue) Briggs and Tim Briggs; grandchildren, Justin, Angela, Amanda, Samantha, Jenny, Nicole, and Antonio; four great-grandchildren; mother, Lola Orman; sister, JoAnn Withem; and many nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and special friends.
