Mrs. Cochran died of blood poisoning last Sunday, after an illness of about two weeks. The infection came from running a rusty nail in her foot. Born: November 23, 1902 near Metz, Jasper Co., Iowa Obituary Mrs. Frank SeelsFuneral services for Mrs. Frank Seels were held Wednesday afternoon at the Metz church and was largely attended. Rev. O. T. Colgrove of Mitchellville was in charge and music was furnished by a quartet composed of J. H. Woodrow, Mrs. M. O. Colegrove, Mrs. Richard Seberling and O. T. Colgrove, who sang, "What A Friend We Have in Jesus," "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Abide With Me". They were accompanied by Mrs. J. E. Reid. Palbearers were Harry Lewis, George Lewwis, Emmet Kvasny, Phay Donaldson, Clifford Donaldson and Howard Alexander, all of Colfax. Etheleen Eleanor Cochran, daughter of David and Anna Cochran, was born near Metz, Nov. 23, 1902 and died on Feb. 1, 1931 at the age of 28 years, in Des Moines, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Frank Seels on July 1, 1920. To this union one son was born, George, who is nine years of age. She leaves surviving her, her husband, son, one brother, Howard Cochran of Colfax and many other relatives and friends. Her father and mother died when she was a small child; also one sister and one brother preceded her in death.
