Malcolm W. Emmack, 76 passed away January 13, 2019. He was born on February 21, 1942, in Newton, Iowa, to Audra (Brooks) and Lyle Emmack. He is survived by brothers, Charles Emmack of Florence, AZ, and Norman (Naomi) Emmack of Omaha, NE.
He served 3 years in the ARMY from 1964-67. Malcolm worked for American Airlines and retired after 45 years. During retirement, you could often find him at local garage sales and flea markets. He had a knack for finding treasures! He also loved to spend his time watching his grandkids in all of their activities.
He also leaves behind his wife of 38 years, the love of his life: Barbara Schuh Emmack, and their children: Dr. Kimberly (Dr. Jim) Geyda and Gene (Amy) Lezon, and grandchildren: Matthew and Miranda Geyda and Heather, Ryan, Sarah and Josie Lezon.
Malcolm had a soft spot for his dogs over the years. Any memorial contributions can be made in his name to the Indianapolis Humane Society, 465 N. Holmes Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46222.
A Memorial service will be held at Southport United Methodist Church, 1947 E. Southport Road, on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 11am. Visitation for friends and family from 10-11am.
