The cemetery is located in the grove of trees on top of the hill.
This cemetery is also known as Barbee Cemetery. It was a neighborhood graveyard and never established as a public cemetery. There is one stone, some bases of old stones and many other unmarked burials. The stone reads:
Barbee, John d. 09 Mar 1889 Aged 76y 2m 18d Father
Barbee, Olive d. 09 Apr 1892 Aged 73y 24d Mother
Base of a stone has Barbee and on top of the base is Bellanger. This may be the name of the monument cutter. Two other bases have no writing.
This area has been dowsed and as many as 20 other burials may be in this location. In 1994 it is being farmed around and the plot itself is a tangle ofweeds and stones. It is untended and endangered.
