"Kellogg German Lutheran Cemetery, otherwise known as Kellogg Lutheran, German Lutheran, German Burying Grounds and St. Paul's, is located in Section 22 of Kellogg Township, Jasper County, Iowa. It is at North 27th Avenue East West of East 92 street North.
"This once acre piece of land was deeded to the Lutheran Church of Jasper City, Iowa by Milton and Sylvia M. Briggs on 11 January 1870. The Articles of Incorporation were drawn up and filed in 1879 for the German Evangelical Lutheran St. Clemens Church of Kellogg, Jasper County, Iowa. In the articles the name Jasper City appears again when it reads: "....of Lymans Addition to Jasper City, town of Kellogg, Jasper County, Iowa, for which they have a warranty deed dated 3 Jun 1872 for the plot of ground known as the German Burying Ground.
"The condition of the cemetery is fair to good. Many of the stones are inscribed in German. It is fenced, there is no sign, maintenance is good and you can drive in."
