Scotch (a.k.a. Old Scotch or Welsh) Cemetery

This Old Scotch cemetery 1975 gravestone listing is not complete as the cemetery was overgrown at the time stones were read. The 1881 History of Iowa County shows the cemetery to have about 60 graves. Scotch is designated as a Pioneer Cemetery.

From Hwy I 80 and Hwy IA-149:

  1. Head north on IA-149/P Ave/County Hwy V77 toward Conroy. Continue to follow IA-149 (5 mi)
  2. Turn right at 175th St (2.5 mi)

Scotch Cemetery is on the left (north side of the road)
