Orphan Train Riders to Iowa |

On July 17, 1912, four
year old Harry Dishman arrived in Manchester, Iowa aboard the orphan train.
Clara Comstock was the Children's Aid Society agent. Harry was assigned to the Frank Assmus
family but within a month Mrs. Assmus was ill and not able to care for
