...Arrived in Clinton Iowa in 1890. Her name was Lillian. The name
sewn into the coat she was wearing at the time she arrived said "Brown". We
don't know for sure whether that had been her last name. She was adopted by
John and Sophie Ott in Clinton Iowa. I have Lillian's birth date as
