HOME IN KOSSUTH WANTED FOR BOY NINE YEARS OLD
Another Homeless New York Orphan is Brought to Algona.

LITTLE SISTER HAS BEEN TAKEN BY LOCAL FARMERS

Wanted-good home for nice little boy of nine, of good American parentage. Bright, healthy, and well mannered. May be seen at Mrs. E. J. Rawson's, 302 east Call street, Algona.
This little want "ad" was left with the Advance Thursday by Miss Clara B. Comstock, one of the two representatives of the children's Aid Society, of New York, who found good homes here a year ago for 14 homeless New York boys and girls.

Miss Comstock brought the boy here last Wednesday, but, being pressed for time, had to postpone looking up a home for him. Mrs. Rawson heard of the case, and volunteered to open her home and big, motherly heart to the youngster until a place was found for him.

The boy's little sister, aged 5, has been placed with Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Johnson, six miles southeast of Algona. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson have no other children.

Miss Comstock left here for Charles City, where on Friday she and her able condjutor, Miss Anna Hill, were to find homes for 13 children from New York. Miss Hill is the young woman of somewhat ample proportions who made such an excellent impression upon a crowded house at the Call when she appealed for homes for the children who were brought here a year ago.

After disposing of the children taken to Charles City, Miss Comstock will come back to Algona and find a home for the boy at Mrs. Rawson's.

Miss Comstock said that the children brought here last year were all still in the county. A few, however, have been changed to other homes for one reason or another. All are doing well, and none of the foster parents had had reason to regret having taken one or more of the children.
Persons desirous of corresponding with Miss Comstock relative in the boy at Mrs. Rawson's may address her at Des Moines, P. O. Box No. 117.
