Rev. Mr. Toles and His Little
Wanderers
|
The first public appearance of Rev. Mr. Toles and his "Little Wanderers"
in this city was in the Burlington Mission School which meets every
Sunday morning in the vestry of the congregational church. Mr. Toles
made an interesting statement of the work of the institution he
represents is doing, and several beautiful pieces were sung by his choir
of children. At the close a collection was taken up for the "Home"
amounting to $10.00, which was very liberal considering the
circumstances.
