Thank you for contacting the Tabor Historical Society (THS). Due to the challenge of searching our extensive holdings we charge fees for services provided to patrons. Current policy allows for one hour of research free of charge with a $10.00 per hour fee thereafter. Current members of the Tabor Historical Society are charged at a rate of $8.00 per hour. There also are charges to copy or scan images. Xerographic copies are $.50 per page; computer scanning of documents and photographs are $2.50 each.

    Basic Search:
A THS volunteer will conduct a basic one hour search free of charge in response to a clearly written request about a person, family, or document.  Research is limited to resources in the direct custody of the Society.  Examples include a request to locate a photograph, college record, or documentation related to family history. THS does not have governmental records such as deeds, wills, birth certificates and marriage licenses in its collection.

    Extended Search:
If THS determines that a request will require more than an hour to complete, we will contact you for authorization to continue at your direction as to search time and scope.

    Procedures:
Fill out the attached form with a detailed description of the desired information and return to address listed below. If unsuccessful after the first hour's search, we will contact you to arrange further search parameters and fee payment.
