William H. Wyant, a long time resident of Scott Twp, died Monday morning (10 Aug,1931) after a long illness, He was 67 years old. Funeral services were held Tuesday
(11 August, 1931) at 2:00 P. M. at the King School house , with interment in the Thurman, cemetery.
William Harry Wyant was born October 24,1863 at Marshalltown, Iowa and died Sunday night at the home of his son-in-law, Mr. Kearns. He spent a few years in Missouri and
the rest of his life has been spent in Iowa, Mostly Fremont County. He was married to Mezada{Navada} Pierce at Anderson, Iowa. To this union five children were born, Chas.
and Eva died when small children, Edna Kearns a few years ago. Two sons Earl and Lester who with the mother and fourteen grandchildren mourn his going. Mr. Wyant has been
in poor health for a number of years and all summer has been a severe sufferer with heart trouble. When a young man he unite with the Methodist church and ;later was a
member of the Christian Church at Bartlett.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday (11 August, 1931) by Rev. Chas Aitken from Kings Chapel with interment in the Thurman Cemetery.
