Ruby May Music, daughter of Henry Ward Weight and Lottie Viola Pierce, was born on May 10, 1919, and passed away on Sept 4, 1971 at age 52, at the Douglas County Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.
Ruby grew to womanhood, north of Thurman and attended Bartlett Consolidated School. She was united in marriage to Richard Music on Sept 28, 1938 in Rockport, Mo. She is survived by her father
who resides at Conception Junction, Mo., two brothers, Everett Paul Weight and Russell Owen Weight of Omaha, two sons, Richard and Dickie Lee Music; one daughter,Nancy Gail Music of Omaha;
one granddaughter and a host of relatives and friends.
The services were held on Wednesday September 8, 1971 at the Crawford-Reeves funeral home at Tabor with the Rev. John Brandt officiating, Pallbearers were Russell Weight, Richard Music,
Vernon Allstot, Dickie; Douglass Ulltt and Emil Sryra, Mrs. Jack Ewalt was the organist, and Mrs. Lisle Weatherhead was soloist.
Interment was in the Thurman cemetery.
