CHARLES McBETH DIES AFTER SHORT ILLNESS"
Charles Howard McBeth was born near Shickley, Neb., September 29, 1892. He departed this life at his home in Geneva, Neb., October 3, 1941, after one week's illness of bronchial pneumonia. He ahd reached the age of 49 years and 4 days.
While a small boy he moved to Iowa with his parents and grew to manhood there. February 13, 1915, he was united in marriage to Bessie Acord of Percival, Ia. To this union were born six children, Harold E. McBeth of Morro Bay, Cal., Mrs. Harry Anderson of Turlock, Cal., Mattie McBeth of Marysville, Cal., Mrs. Bertrand Sanburg of Fairmont, Neb., and Grace and Howard, of home.
He leaves to mourn his death his wife, six children, five grandchildren, five sisters, Mrs. Jane Curtis of Auburn, Wash., Mrs. Nettie Haskin of Renton, Wash., Mrs. Emma Smith of Seattle, Wash., Mrs. Alma Dean of Belvidere, Neb., and Mrs. Alpha Ricketts of Colroado Springs, Col., and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. McBeth and family moved to Geneva in the spring of 1922 and had been engaged in truck driving up to the time of his fatal illness.
The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon, October 8, from the Kritner Funeral Home, Rev. Phil B. Wahl of the Congregational church officiating. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery.
