Sarah Jennings, daughter of William S. Roberts and Emily (Masker) Roberts was born December 31, 1870, at Pichway (Richwood, Union county, Ohio is correct),
Ohio, and passed away Nov.2, 1953, at Clarinda, Iowa. She was united in marriage to W. H. (William) Jennings, Hamburg, Iowa year 1891(correct date is 28 Nov 1887) at Minersville, Nebraska.
To this union were born Grant E. Jennings, St. Joseph, Missouri; Mrs. Stella Johnson, Fairfax, Missouri and Alvin H. Jennings, San Diego, Calf. also two children who passed away in infancy,
Mary and Rosa. She also leaves 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Thirty years of Mrs. Jennings' life was spent at Syracuse and Palmer, Nebr. The rest of her life was spent in Iowa.
Funeral services were from Johnson Funeral home Wednesday, Nov 4, 1953, at 2pm. Burial at High Creek cemetery. Rev. Earl Melton was minister.
