Clayton F. Howser
Died: March 23,1961
Funeral services for Clayton F. Howser, were held Monday, March 26, from the Raynor-Hamiliton Funeral chapel, conducted by the Rev. C.F. Waterman. Interment was in the Silver City Cemetery.
Music was furnished by Mrs. Phillip Lenz and Ronald Knutson. Casket bearers were Linford Dasher, Willard Dasher, Edward Austin, Harvey Meisinger, Sterling Cole and Clarence Cuthrell
Clayton attended grade school in Silver City, and moved to Macedonia where he attended high school.
He was united in marriage with Edith Campbell, June 26,1937 at Bartlett, Iowa. To this union five daughters, and one son were born.
He spent the early part of his life around Bartlett on a farm until 1943 when they moved to Pacific Junction. He worked for the Burlington Railroad at Pacific Junction and Plattsmouth, Neb.
for 15 years. He belonged to the Carman Post No. 16.
Survivors include his widow Edith, daughters; Lorraine Scott of Auburn, Neb., Louise Yorbrough, Elkhorn, Neb., Kay Hankins of Randolph, and Leota and Shielah, and one son Ula, of the home;
five grandchildren, Doyle and Pat Scott, and Yolanda, Billy and Rex Yorbrough; three sisters Mrs. Mable McClement of Coldwell, Ida. Mrs. Leonia Moore and Mrs. Iva Moore of Council Bluffs; two brothers,
Alfred and Lloyd preceded him in death.
