Minnie Obellia (Jennings) Holland
Minnie Obellia Holland, daughter of Jerry and Emma Jennings, was born at Brownsville, Nebraska, July 2, 1887 and died at the Hamburg Community Hospital November 5, 1958 at the age 71 years,
4 months, and 3 days.
Mrs. Holland spent her early years in the Hamburg vicinity and attended the Lewis school on the island south of Hamburg. On Jan 27, 1906, she was united in marriage to O. C. Holland at
Hamburg and to this union six children were born. They spent their early married life in and near Hamburg and then to Sidney where she spent her remaining years.
She is survived by her husband, O. C. Holland of Sidney, two sons, Alfred of Hamburg, and Kenneth of Nebraska City, four daughters Mrs. Beulah Lord, Shenandoah, Mrs. Leola Reed,
Council Bluffs, Mrs. Leona Jennings, Tabor and Mrs. Ruth Beason, Nebraska City; seventeen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two sister, Mrs. Clayton Hess, Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Leila Holland, Denver, Colo., four brothers, Theodore Jennings, Riverton, James Jennings, Auburn, Nebr., Levi Jennings, Berkley, Calif. and Clarence Jennings, Los Angeles, Calif.
Services were held Friday, November 7, at 2 p.m. at the Rash Funeral Home with Rev Oscar Grindheim officiating. Interment in the Mount Olive cemetery.
