DEATH ENTERS 3 HOMES
Dr. Taylor, H. C. Dowdy and Mrs. Hatton Solve Life's Mystery.
H. C. Dowdy, more familiarly known as "Hank" died at his home in Nebraska City, Neb., Tuesday Jan. 1st of pneumonia, at the age of 60 years 9 months and 16 days. Mr. Dowdy was born in Salia (sic) county Ohio coming to Hamburg in 1873. He has lived here and in Nebraska City ever since. He leaves a widow and five children to mourn his death. These were all at his funeral except one daughter, Mrs. Ida Thomas Myer (sic), who is very low of consumption at Canon City, Colo. The remains were brought to this city Wednesday morning and after a brief service at the cemetery were laid to rest beside those of the wife of his early days.
