| At the German Baptist church in
Elgin, Iowa, on Wednesday evening, April 30, 1902, Mr. Ernst Backler
and Miss Rose Baumgartner were united in marriage. Rev. R. J. Hack
officiating. Mr. Backler is a prosperous young farmer living two
miles west of Elgin and the lady of his choice is an accomplished
young woman of this township. This estimable young couple has the
esteem and best wishes of a large acquaintance. |
