Owen, Reese / Ruse - ? Age 26y; b. Anglesea, North Wales; inscription very difficult to read. The 1870 US Census, N. McGregor, Mendon twp., Clayton co IA, enumerated Ruse Owen, age 25, b. Wales, Locomotive machinist, married in Sept of the last year; his wife Ann Owen, age 23, b. England, married in Sept of the last year. Both in household of William & Jane Owen, ages 27 & 26, b. N. Wales. Reece / Ruse's gravestone says he was aged 26, so he died 1871/72

Woodman, Emma - see notes Age 19y 1m 5d; The inscription may read: "wife of W. H. Woodman". WPA recorded dates as 1806-1925, but they must be wrong. When the WPA did the cemetery survey in the 1930's Emma Woodman's gravestone inscription likely had already deteriorated enough that the reading was difficult. It is more likely that Emma's dates are 1856-1875; GPP
