Fred Schrader

Fred Schrader and Sula Walters were married May 12, 1931. They had two children: Lila Jean, born 1932 and Duane, born  March 1934. Fred owned and operated the oil station in Garber in the 1930's.

Fred's parents & siblings

Henry C. A. Schrader,  born May 20,1861. On Sept 22,1887 he married Sophia Kuehl (20 Sept 1867- 13 Feb 1922) daugther of Joachim and Mary Dorothy Fick.

Their children:
Chris, b. July 3, 1888 in Volga Township and died July 19, 1888.

Doras b. 1892
Henry Peter, b. March 26, 1894.
Sophia D., b. Sept 13,1897 and died Jan 29, 1916
Fred, b. Aug 15,1903  and died Aug 5, 1990
Martha, b. March 30, 1907 and died 1942.

The parents, Chris, Sophia and Martha are buried  at Elkport Lutheran Church Cemetery. Elkport
