Joseph Bohonek & Katherine Kostal Joseph (1861-1916) came from Lisov, Bohemia. Katherine (1860-1945) also came from Bohemia.

Adolph Bohonek & Elizabeth Kostal Adolph Bohonek and Elizabeth Kostal married ca1884.

I have a piece of my g-grandmother, Katherine Kostal's wedding dress. It's dark brown. Katherine and Elizabeth Kostal were sisters, and Joseph and Adolph Bohonek were brothers. Family lore says that sometime shortly after their first son, Edward Arthur, was born, Adolph Bohonek abandoned his family. I've located Adolph in New Prague, Minnesota in the 1930 census. Elizabeth later married Benjamin Burlingame and he adopted Edward.

Anna Kostal Thiese & her daughter Lottie Thiese Anna Kostal (1869-1929) married William J. Thiese. They removed to Mitchell, South Dakota and had two daughters, Irene and Lottie (1893-1986).

Mathias Kastle Mathias (1875-1933) spelled his surname Kastle. He lived in Dubuque. He married Elizabeth Baumgartner, who had two children from a previous marriage. They had two children together, Matt Jr. and Alonzo.

Mary Rose Kostal Samek

Mary Rose Kostal Samek Mary Rose Kostal (1872-1963) married Henry Samek. They had two children, Henry M. and Lillian.
