LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ELLIS WRIGHT
I, Ellis Wright, of the Town of Quimby, County of Cherokee, and State of Iowa, do mak this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all wills by me at any time made. I give, devise and bequeath all my property, rent and personal, which I may own at the time of my death, as follows, that is to say:

To my daughter Eva Corbin I devise and bequeath my homestead property, being Lots (3) Three and 4 Four in Block Number(10) Ten in the town of Quimby, Iowa, to be her own property absolutely in fee simple. I also give to my said daughter Eva Corbin, to be her own absolutely, all the personal property which may at the time of my death be in use in connection with my said homestead property, whether used for the purpose of utility, convenience or pleasure of ornament, including all household goods, fixtures and furnishings and all household supplies used in connection with my homestead as aforesaid. I also give to my daughter Eva Corbin One Thousand Dollars in cash.

I give and devise to my daughter Mary Fox the following described real estate in Quimby, Cherokee County, Iowa, to be her own absolutely in fee simple, lots (8) Eight and the West half of (7) Seven in Block number (9).

To my son Wray Wright I give and bequeath the sum of One Thousand Dollars in cash, but in case that should Wray owe me at the time of my death then such sums, with the accumulated interest, shall first be deducted from the One Thousand Dollars aforesaid.

To my son E. E. Wright I give and bequeath the sum of One Thousand Dollars in cash.

To my daughter Clara Neal I give and bequeath the sum of One Thousand Dollars in cash.

The residue of my estate not hereinbefore disposed of including Lots (1) One and (2) Two in Block number (6) Six and Lots (2) Two and (3) Three in Block (7) Seven be divided equally between my five Children above named. If any of them shall have died leaving issue, his or her share shall go to such issue; but if any one shall have died without issue, his or her share shall be divided equally among those who survive. I hereby nominate my son E. E. Wright to be the executor of this my last will and testament without bonds. In witness whereof, I have to this, my last will and testament, consisting of two sheets of paper, subscribed my name this 17th day of May, 1911.

We hereby certify that on this 17th day of May, 1911, at the Town of Quimby, Cherokee Comty, Iowa, Ellis Wright, to us personally known, did, in our presence, sign the foregoing instrument and declare the same to be his last will and testament; and we, at his request, and in his presence, and in the presence of each other, do hereunto subscribe our named as witnesses thereto.

Affidavit of Decease
State of Iowa, Cherokee County

I,  E. E. Wright do solemnly swear that I was acquainted with Ellis Wright during his lifetime, and that he departed this life at Quimby, Cherokee County, in the State of Iowa, on the 12th day of November A. D., 1914.
