206 N. Federal Ave., Mason City IA
Horace P. Kirk was an early-day Mason City photographer. He produced many
sterographs (3-dimensional pictures with two superimposed images of identical photographs placed side-by-side. When viewed
through
a steroscrope, it produced a 3-dimensional image.) The Kirk was named in Horace's honor. The Kirk was placed on the National Register of Historic Places April 12, 1982.
