The Elk Hotel, also known as Park Hotel of Clear Lake, was located at the corner of Main Avenue and 3rd Street,
across from the Corner Drug Store in Clear Lake, Iowa. It was built in in 1901. A trolley line passed by the hotel at
3rd and Main. The hotel was later known as the Rogers Hotel, and later still as the Park Hotel.
The was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 21, 1982.
The Park Hotel was demolished in April of 1987. A modern brick structure, home of Clear Lake's VFW Post 4868, replaced
the hotel.
