Fifth-and sixth-graders from Lincoln Intermediate School planted trees Friday in the Elmwood St. Joseph Cemetery.
Elmwood St. Joseph Cemetery Manager Randy OPHEIM (top left) and Lincoln Intermediate School students Jake PALMER (right
center), Brady SHEIMO (far right) and Justin ZEIGLER plant a tree Friday at the Elmwood St. Joseph Cemetery in Mason City.
The students are part of a group called Lincoln Leaders, who are fifth-and sixth-graders elected as leaders of their
homeroom classes at Lincoln Intermediate. The planting was part of the Trees Forever grant, which also funded more trees
to be planted in East Park.
