The President Abraham Lincoln statue with a polished red granite base was dedicated to The Defenders of the Union on Memorial Day, 1918. It was rededicated in 2003. Behind the Lincoln statue is another Civil War monument In Memory of Tom Howard Post No. 101, Erected by Daughters Of Union Veterans Tent No. 45.
