(Superintendent)

    Mr. Benner came to Clarence in 1931. His home is in Fredricksburg, Iowa. He has been with us for the past four years. He received his college education at Ames and Cedar Fall and is doing graduate work at the State University. He is teaching Manual Arts and Coaching Boys and Girls athletics.

     Our high School principal, Latin and Mathematics teacher knew most of us as tiny children. She has served the school faithfully for the past fourteen years. She is a graduate of Cornell. Her home address is Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Paula Reinking

     Our English teacher, Miss Paula Reinking, was born at Clarence, Iowa. This is her first year here. She is graduated from the University of Iowa. She has charge of Girls P. T.

Robert R. Hyde

     Mr. Hyde is located at Marion, Iowa. He is graduated from Coe College, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He has been teaching in our schools for the past two years.

Ruth Bailey

     Miss Bailey, our music teacher, who has been working very hard this year, with Glee Clubs, Orchestra, H. S. and Grade Music and two subjects to teach, has been here but one year. She is to be found at home at Klemme, Iowa. She is graduated from the University of Iowa. Besides her music, she teaches, Physics and Biology.

Priscilla Burroughs

     Miss Burroughs, who has had such decided success in the Home Economics department of the school this year, is located at Gilman, Iowa. Besides Home Economics, she teaches 8th Reading and English. She is graduated from Iowa State College.

Mildred Martin

     Miss Martin, teacher in the 7th grade, makes her home at Wilton Junction, Iowa. She received her diploma from Iowa State Teachers College. She has taught here for three years.

Edna Engelking

     Miss Engelking also makes her home at Clarence. She received her diploma from Iowa State Teachers. She has taught her 1 ½ years. She teaches grades 5 and 6.

Erma Silver

     Miss Silver, our fourth grade teacher, makes her home at Center Point, Iowa. This is her first year with us. She received her diploma from Iowa State Teachers College.

Dorothy Meier

     Our third grade teacher, Miss Meier, makes her home at Olin, Iowa. She has a Rural School diploma from I.S.T.C.

Mary Martin

     Miss Martin, sister of Mildred Martin, also makes her home at Wilton Junction, Iowa. She teaches grade 2. She has a State Elementary degree from Cedar Falls.

Ina Cruise

     Miss Cruise makes her home at Olin, Iowa, she teaches 1st grade. She has been here 8 years. Graduate of Univ. of Iowa.
