Everett Charles Platt was born 15 January 1873 (World War I draft registration); died 2 November 1945 in Peoria, Illinois (Illinois Death Index); Married Mary Hayes (born November 1875, daughter of General Philip Cornelius Hayes-source-History of Will County, Illinois); children: Philip C. Platt (ca 1905-) and Miriam Platt (ca 1908-); family enumerated in 1900 and 1910 Eagle Grove, Wright County, Iowa census and 1930 in Bloomington, McLean, Illinois.
