James Virgil SPIRES

I am searching for information on my paternal grandfather. James Virgil Spires. He was married to Amy Etta Orr in Harrison Co. Ohio and they had 9 children. I know they lived in Minnesota and Saskatchawa, Canada for several years and that he died around 1936 when my father (next to the youngest child) was 12 years old. When he died the family moved to Woolstock, Iowa. Children were Maurice, Clifford, Lester, Charles (Chuck), Ralph (my father), Elenor, Evelyn, and two others I can't remember. Any information at all would be greatly appreciated.
