Kenneth Clarence Blau died Sunday at Veterans Hospital in Des Moines. Services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at First Reformed Church in Meservey. Rev. Forrest Harms officiating. Burial will be at Amsterdam Cemetery, Goodell.

Kenneth Blau was born Apr. 12, 1926 to Fred and Kate (Koenen) Blau. He was educated at rural schools at Belmond, and a member of First Reformed Church at Meservey.

Survivors include his wife, Nadine, his foster son, Jeffrey Watermiller, his daughter, Mrs. James (Kathy) Kingery, his father, Fred Blau, his brothers, William, Clear Lake, Aeiko, Sheffield, Frederick, Meservey, and his sister, Mrs. Marvin (Esther) Borchardt, Rock Falls. He was preceded in death by his mother. Casket bearers Theodore Dirks, Dale and Merle Frohling, Virgil Koenen, Alvin Smith, Robert Watermiller.
