David Michael Bachman, age 71, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Banks Brazell officiating. Interment will follow Wednesday, December 30th at Amsterdam Cemetery in Goodell, Iowa.

A native of Iowa, Mr. Bachman moved to Marietta, GA in 1966. He worked as an accountant for Metrac and Midco Southern before retirement. He was also an avid antique car collector, and was a member of the Classic Glass Corvette Club, the R.O.M.E.O.’s Club, and of Roswell Street Baptist Church.

He is survived by his former spouse, Jayne Bachman, Brother-in-law, Jerry (Marie) Pittman, Nephews, Greg and Brandon, Niece, Stephanie, and their families. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Children’s Home or to the Cobb County Humane Society. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday, December 26th at the funeral home.
