“Beaver” Steve Stille, 53, of Goodell passed away October 12, 2015 at the Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN. Funeral services for “Beaver” Steve Stille will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, October 16, 2015 at the United Methodist Church in Goodell. Pastor Mike Shafer will officiate. Burial will take place in the Amsterdam Cemetery in Goodell. Visitation for “Beaver” Steve Stille will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the Dugger Funeral Home, 111 Luicks Lane South, in Belmond and will continue for one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. The Family of Beaver Steve Stille wishes those attending the funeral on Friday wear jeans.

Steve Royce, son of Wayne and Gloria Burrs Stille, was born on September 16, 1962 in Belmond. Affectionately known as Beaver, grew up in Goodell. He graduated from Belmond High School in 1981. After graduation, Beav worked for a few different farm equipment and implement dealers in the area. Beav farmed with his brother, Gene. He also went on wheat runs in California and North Dakota with several of his friends. He also worked at Eaton, Abilene, and presently at Howard. Beav was also a Goodell volunteer firefighter for many years.

Beav loved mowing his lawn, farming, going on fishing trips, and hanging out with friends and family. He enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns and the Iowa Hawkeyes. Beaver loved John Deere tractors and black lab dogs, especially his dogs. Beav was a friend to all and was always helping out.

Beaver is survived by three brothers: Gene (Diana) Stille, Mark (Ginger) Stille, Tom Stille all from Goodell, one sister Lisa (Chuck) Darner from Boone, niece and nephew: Cody and Jessica and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, cousins: Kevin, Cale, Andy, and uncles: Mac and Marlin.
