April 2, 1899 --- November 2, 1971

Garner, Iowa - Roy E. Quintus, 72, died at a hospital. Born April 2, 1899, he was the son of Edward and Alice Trimble [Tembey] Quintus. He was born and reared 1 1/2 miles south of Garner on the Quintus farm where he lived most of his life. Surviving are his wife, Mildred, four sons, Dean, Hampton; Don and James, Garner; Gerald, Rapid City, Mrs. Merle (Dorothy) Winters, Ogden, Iowa; Mrs Margaret Romp, Chicago; Mrs. Harlan (Virginia) Hamberkamp, Garner; 17 grandchildren, a brother, Floyd, Eagle Grove. He was preceded by death by and infant brother, and a grandchild. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at United Presbyterian Church. Rev. Cal Willemssen will officiate. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery with Bohn Funeral Home in charge.
