Harry Edward "Larry" Freiberg, 75, of Corwith, died Tuesday (Sept. 16, 1997) at Hancock County Memorial Hospital, Britt. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Linda Hansen Bibb officiating. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Elmer Wilson American Legion Post #229 of Corwith at the Corwith Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:30 to 8 p.m. today at the Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home.

Harry Edward "Larry" Freiberg was born Jan. 20, 1922, in Chicago, Ill. Survivors include his wife, Rena, of Corwith; children, Alan Freiberg of Rapid City, S.D.; Bruce Freiberg of Winfield; Ann Freiberg of Iowa City, and Craig Freiberg of Aberdeen, S.D.; eight grandchildren; stepchildren, Nancy Haan, Steve Claude and Tony Claude, all of Garner; five stepgrandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild; three brothers, Robert Freiberg of Winston, Ore.; William Freiberg of Orland Park, Ill., and Richard Freiberg of Palos Heights, Ill. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, one grandson, one brother and one sister.
