Sandra Katherine Goodrich, the daughter of John and Vera (Zeigler) Babcock, was born on October 27, 1943 in Corwith. After graduation Sandy moved to Huntsville, Alabama where her sister lived. She rented a room from a nice widow and worked at Sears from 1962 to 1975. Sandy moved back to Kanawha in 1975 and married Doyce Goodrich. She received a job at Sears in Mason City where she worked until 1978. Sandy was a special person, always giving someone a bad time but then turning around giving the biggest hugs. She always knew when you needed a hug. She did a lot of that with the residents of the home while working there. Sandy made the best of the best potato salad. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren. Sandy will be remembered and sadly missed as a dear mother, grandmother, sister, special friend, sister-in-law and aunt.
