November 6, 1873 --- January 14, 1955

William F. Beier....Mr. Beier had been a resident of Goodell for 48 years. He was born at Elkport, one of a family of seven children. He was married to Bertha Lemke of Liberty Township, Hancock County. They moved to a farm near Klemme and later to Goodell. After retiring from the farm, Mr. Beier purchased a meat market which he operated for some time. He later owned an elevator and before his retirement he drove a tank wagon for the standard Oil Co. Survivors include his wife, son Walter of Fort Dodge and a granddaughter. Burial in Amsterdam Cemetery, Goodell, Iowa....
