November 14, 1913 --- June 9, 1963

Clarence E. Lemke, son of Otto and Mary (Busch) Lemke was born Nov. 14, 1913 on a farm 5 miles west of Klemme. In his youth he attended the Klemme Schools through the 11th grade, and graduated from the Garner High School in 1931. On Nov. 15, 1936 he was married to Pearl Neuberger at the First Methodist Church in Klemme. For the next five years he was employed in Klemme. In 1941 he and his wife moved to the home farm just west of Klemme where has lived since. On June 9th Clarence passed away at the Belmond Community Hospital after many months of lingering illness. Surviving are his wife Pearl and one daughter, Pamela. Burial in the Klemme Cemetery.
