HORACE LAWHORN DIED AT GARNER, IOWA, TUESDAY

Horace Lawhorn of Garner, Iowa, and a former resident of Lena, passed away at the Mercy Hospital at Mason City, Ia., Tuesday at the age of 67 years. Mr. Lawhorn left here about thirty years ago and operated a farm until ten years ago when he retired and moved to Garner. He is survived by three brothers, George and Charles Lawhorn of Garner; and William T. Lawhorn of Lena.
Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Lawhorn of this city, and son Irvin Lawhorn of Lanark and daughter, Mrs. Frank Brown of Freeport, left Thursday morning to attend the funeral services at Garner. He was buried in the Calvary Cemetery in Klemme, Iowa.
