KANAWHA, IA ---Albert B. Cooper, 87, of Kanawha, died Monday (June 2, 1997) at the Kanawha Community Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Kanawha Christian Reformed Church, with the Rev. G. David Daley officiating. Burial will be in the Amsterdam Cemetery. visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Ewing-Dugger Funeral Chapel, and one hour prior to services at the church.

Albert B. Cooper was born Aug. 19, 1909, in Kanawha. Survivors include his wife, Martha Cooper, Britt; two daughters, Anita Brink of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Bonnie Geerdes of Wellsburg; two sons, Larry Cooper of Kanawha, and Terry Cooper, Thatcher, Ariz.; four stepchildren; two sisters, Gertie Knoll and Grace Hole, both of Mason City; one brother, William Cooper of Clear Lake; 14 grandchildren; 14 stepgrandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, two sisters and six brothers.
