KANAWHA, IA - Shauna Lynn Eekhoff, 16, of Kanawha, died Sunday (June 23, 1996) in Hancock County. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the West Hancock Junior High Gymnasium in Kanawha, with the Rev. Matthew Miller officiating. Burial will be in Amsterdam Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the Ewing Funeral Home.

Shauna Lynn Eekhoff was born Aug. 9, 1979, in Britt to Tom and Lisa Eekhoff. Survivors include her father, Tom Eekhoff of Renwick; her mother, Lisa Rasmussen and her husband, Jack, of Kanawha; two sisters, Stacy Eekhoff of Princeton, Mo., and Kelly Eekhoff, at home; her maternal grandparents, Ron Salven of Marion, and Marlene and Jerry Codner of Jefferson; her maternal great-grandparents, Steve and Violet Everett of Lakeview, Ariz.; paternal grandparents, Ray and Dorothy Eekhoff of Kanawha; and stepgrandmother, Ethelyn Rasmussen of Kanawha.
