WODEN, Iowa — Gerald L. Vriez, 62, of rural Britt, died Monday (Nov. 23, 1998) northwest of Britt. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998, at the Woden Christian Reformed Church, southwest of Woden, with the Rev. Kevin L. Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Bingham Township Cemetery, south of Woden. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel, Woden. Gerald Lee Roy Vrieze was born May 5, 1936, near Kanawha. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Vrieze, of Britt; three children, LeAnn Lamaak, of Britt; Marcia Kluver, of Britt; and LeRoy Vrieze, of Britt; five grandchildren; and one brother, Calvin Vrieze, of Ionia. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
